Torre Beach is a sandy beach located in Taragoña, in the municipality of Rianxo, at the end of the ría de Arousa, in the area of the Beluso cove and the Barbanza comarca. Its name comes from the presence of an archaeological site of a medieval fortification on the punta da Torre. It is also known as A Salgueiriña. The beach stretches approximately 1,200 m, bounded by the punta de Iñobre or punta da Posta and the mouth of the río Té. To choose this spot, note a long beach, linked to the estuary and a local historical landmark. Praia do Pazo is 0.5 km away, followed by Praia de Quenxo further on. Nearby beaches are within a practical radius for changing stops.
Torre stands out for its setting: ría de Arousa, mouth of the río Té, and medieval trace at the punta da Torre. It’s a good choice if you want a long beach with precise landscape landmarks. Keep these landmarks close to adapt your outing based on space and access.
