Beverly Beach

About this spot
贝弗利海滩的名字来源于19世纪在该地区定居的首批英国殖民者。该地区地质构造复杂，是喀斯喀特山脉构造运动和更新世冰川周期的遗迹。低潮时可见的玄武岩岩石证明了哥伦比亚高原古老的火山活动。历史上，这条海岸曾是捕鲸者和俄国毛皮商人停靠的港口，直到永久定居点的建立。如今，贝弗利海滩仍然是沿海自然主义者优先的观测点，尤其是在灰鲸季节性迁徙期间。
