Whale Bone Beach

About this spot
“鲸骨海滩”这个名字让人联想到历史上鲸鱼搁浅在这片海岸的景象，这是加州海岸常见的现象，大型海洋哺乳动物容易受到洋流和风暴的影响。这片区域曾是奥隆人（Ohlone）的领地，后来在19世纪成为捕鲸区，至今仍隐约保留着这段海洋记忆。即使在今天，冬天偶尔也会有鲸鱼骨骼被海浪带到岸边，这是这些寒冷水域中充满活力的海洋生命的切实提醒。
