El Dorado Beach

About this spot
“El Dorado”这个名字让人联想到征服者传说中的黄金城，也让人联想到 19 世纪加州的淘金热历史区域。东临太浩湖的 El Dorado 县因此得名。这个海滩本身虽然不大，但属于太浩湖的地貌，这是一个深度惊人的构造湖（部分地区超过 500 米），形成于约 200 万年前。历史上，湖水非常纯净，以至于当地渔民可以看清几米深的水底；如今，由于富营养化，清澈度有所下降，但湖泊仍然保持着其原始的特性。El Dorado Beach 是少数几个免费且开发很少的湖泊入口之一，吸引着寻求原始湖泊体验而非标准化海滨舒适的旅行者。
