About this spot
Fontanil的名字来源于历史上为这个河流交汇区供水的泉水。里昂和维勒弗朗什之间这段罗讷河地区围绕着河流的使用而发展：捕鱼、运输，以及逐渐的海滨休闲活动。构成海滩的卵石来自阿尔卑斯山的冰川侵蚀，由罗讷河数千年来携带而来。与附近的日内瓦湖（Lac Léman）的开发海滩不同，这些河滨地区保留了更原始、媒体曝光度较低的特征，主要吸引那些了解河流流量季节性变化和最佳游泳时期的当地居民。
