Spiaggia Pozzallo

About this spot
波扎洛（Pozzallo）的名字源于希腊语“pozzo”（井），让人联想到该地区半干旱地区淡水水源的历史重要性。西西里岛东南海岸长期以来一直是腓尼基人和阿拉伯航海家，以及巴巴里海盗的停泊点，后来在19世纪成为一个繁荣的商业港口。当地地质以中新世石灰岩为主，解释了这些特色鹅卵石的存在。当地渔民至今仍经常光顾这些海岸，延续着数千年来对海洋资源的利用传统。
