About this spot
“Caleta”这个名字源自西班牙语和加泰罗尼亚语，意为小海湾或浅湾——这个名称完美地反映了当地的地貌。瓦伦西亚海岸的这一部分由侏罗纪石灰岩的海蚀形成，长期以来一直是渔船和走私者的避难所。在20世纪，大规模海滩旅游到来之前，库列拉的渔民家庭经常光顾这些海湾来收网或修理船只。如今，尽管邻近地区日益城市化，La Caleta仍然保留着一个不那么驯服的地中海海岸的记忆，在那里，海洋的工作优先于休闲产业。
