BeachFinder is built by an independent developer. Reaching a real person is easy: email is the fastest channel and we usually answer within 24 hours on weekdays.
Send a short note describing the issue, with screenshots if it helps. If you write about a billing question, mention your Apple ID order receipt or Google Play order ID.
For privacy-related requests (data access, deletion, correction) please use the same address and reference our Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions are managed directly by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android). On iOS open Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → BeachFinder. On Android open the Play Store app → your avatar → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → BeachFinder. Cancelling stops auto-renewal at the end of the current period; you keep access until that date.
Make sure location access is granted: iOS Settings → BeachFinder → Location → While Using. Android Settings → Apps → BeachFinder → Permissions → Location. If beaches still do not appear, pull down on the home screen to refresh. Coverage focuses on Europe and the USA and continues to expand.
Inside the app, open the beach detail screen and use the report or contribute button. You can also email us with the location (or a link from a maps service) and what should change. We review reports manually and updates appear in the next data sync, usually within a few days.
Data is sourced from Meteo-France, OpenWeatherMap and Open-Meteo marine forecasts. Values are model estimates, not on-site measurements. Always check local flags, lifeguard signals and official advisories before swimming or entering the water.
The free version covers nearby beach search, sea temperature, basic weather, photos and amenities. Premium adds detailed 7-day wind and swell forecasts, the full Surfer Mode (wave height, swell direction, period), unlimited Trip Planner routes, offline maps and an ad-free experience.
Inside the app open Settings → Restore Purchases. If the issue persists, email us with your Apple ID order receipt or Google Play order ID and we will help reconcile your account within 48 hours.
Email contact@getbeachfinder.com from the address associated with your account and ask for account deletion. We delete your profile and personal data within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.
Yes. The content rating is 4+ and we do not collect data from children. The Family Mode highlights supervised beaches, easy parking and accessibility, but always defer to local lifeguard flags and official safety signage.
