Praia da Carreagem

Carreagem Beach is a sandy beach in the municipality of Aljezur, in the northwest Algarve, located at 37.36228, -8.83948. Access is indicated as allowed. It is situated on the western Atlantic front, 2.6 miles, or about 4.2 km, west of the village of Rogil, and 71.8 miles, or about 115.6 km by road, northwest of Faro. The beach is located in the natural park of the Vicentine coast. For today, the factual highlight is this protected Atlantic setting, with a sandy beach and several nearby alternatives: Amoreira Beach at about 1.3 km, Monte Clérigo Beach at 2.5 km, and Vale dos Homens Beach at 2.6 km.
