Apella is a pebble beach on the east coast of the Greek island of Karpathos, near the village of Voláda. Access is listed as permitted, lifeguard cover as absent, and the surface as pebbles. The landscape combines a crescent-shaped bay, surrounded by steep cliffs, with a beach of white pebbles and sand and turquoise waters. To choose Apella, retain above all: Karpathos east coast, a stony beach, an enclosed bay. Nearby alternatives are not immediate: Panagias Limani is 8.5 km away, Náti 11 km, Finiki Beach 12.9 km and Amopi 14.4 km. The shoreline remains described as stony.
Apella is chosen for the landscape: crescent bay, cliffs and pebble shoreline on Karpathos. Lifeguards are not listed and the other mentioned beaches are fairly far away, making it a spot to plan rather than a simple improvised stop.
