Ris Beach, or playón de Ris, is a sandy beach in Noja, Cantabria. It stretches between two natural and urban landmarks: to the east, it connects with Noja beach; to the west, it reaches the ría de Joyel and the village of Isla. This position makes it an interesting choice if you are looking for a large coastal area where you can compare several nearby accesses. In the immediate vicinity are Playa de Cuarezo, Playa del Sable, Playa de Arnadal, and Playa de Tregandín. No specific equipment is indicated; the location, sandy surface, and the role of this beach in the Noja coastal area are the main landmarks. The neighboring beaches provide fallback options if access, space, or atmosphere are not suitable.
Ris should be considered as a connecting beach in Noja: it looks towards Noja beach on one side and towards Joyel and Isla on the other. This is useful if you want to choose on-site between several nearby sandy sections.
