Berria Beach is located in the municipality of Santoña, in Cantabria. It is a sandy beach situated on the isthmus that connects the peninsula formed by Monte Buciero to the municipality of Argoños. It stretches 1,800 m between Monte Brusco to the west and the Buciero massif to the east. Its surface is described as white and fine, with a gentle slope, and the beach is marked with a Blue Flag. It opens to the sea to the north; to the south are the marshes of Santoña. For today, Berria is therefore a large sandy beach well-defined by two reliefs and a background of marshes. Nearby alternatives include Playa de Noja at 2.5 km, Playa de El Brusco at 2.6 km, and Playa de San Martín at 3.3 km.
Berria is a strong choice if you want a long beach structured by the landscape: Brusco on one side, Buciero on the other, and the marshes of Santoña to the south. Its length and gentle slope distinguish it from the nearby small coves.
