Platja de Sant Simó
Sant Simó Beach is a beach in Mataró, on the Maresme coast. It is situated in an agricultural and minimally urban environment, limited to the southwest by the Sant Simó stream, which separates it from Callao Beach, and open to the northeast towards a breakwater area up to the municipal limit of Sant Andreu de Llavaneres. Oriented south-southeast, it measures 884 m long and 23 m wide on average. It is made of very coarse sand and has a steep entry slope to the water. The elements also indicate surveillance, Red Cross, lookout tower, showers, kiosks, sports facilities, sanitary facilities, and a naturist area. For today, it is a beach to choose considering the slope and mixed uses.
