Cala de s'Estany d'en Mas

Cala de s'Estany d'en Mas, also known as Cala Romàntica, is a sandy beach on the coast of Manacor, Mallorca. The location is described as a resort in the Balearic Islands, about 10 km south of Porto Cristo and east of Manacor. The beach measures 90 m long and 160 m wide; it is formed by the erosion of the torrents of Morts or de la Marina and can Llunes, which used to converge before the beach and formed a small pond that is now dried up. The fine sand completes this profile of a small beach on the coast of Manacor. For today, it is suitable if you are looking for a cove with clear dimensions, located in a tourist hub, with Cala Mendia at 0.6 km, Cala Anguila at 1 km, and Cala Falcó at 1.6 km.

About this spot

Cala de s'Estany d'en Mas is a very readable Balearic option: sand, modest dimensions, and a location east of Manacor. Its other name, Cala Romàntica, helps to recognize it on site, while Cala Mendia and Cala Anguila offer very close fallback options.
