Flatenbadet
Flatenbadet is a sandy beach in Skarpnäck, on Lake Flaten, in southeastern Stockholm. Access is listed as permitted. The site is described as the city's largest open-air bathing facility and lies in a largely undeveloped district. The facility buildings were designed by the architect Paul Hedqvist, the complex opened on 23 June 1934, and the area belongs to the Flaten nature reserve created in 2007. The lake also shows more extensive aquatic vegetation since the 1980s. For comparison, Ågestabadet, Källtorpsbadet and several other swimming spots are about 4 to 6 km away in southern Stockholm.
