Praia de Traba, also called O Areal de Traba, is located in Boaño, in the parish of Traba, municipality of Laxe. It is a large sandy beach in the shape of a cove, described with a natural environment combining beach, dunes, and the Traba lagoon. It is situated between Punta Arnao to the south and Punta Traba to the north, and its indicated length reaches 2,650 meters. The white sand and the practice of surfing stand out, but the beach is not indicated as supervised. For a day on this part of the coast, Traba stands out for its size; Arnado, Soesto, and Camelle are located between 2.3 and 3.6 km away, allowing for nearby alternatives.
The main interest of Traba is its scale: a long sandy beach backed by a dune system and a lagoon. It appeals more to those who want to walk, observe the landscape, and keep nearby options than to those looking for a compact little cove.
