Platja de la Barceloneta is a sandy beach located in the Barceloneta neighborhood of Barcelona, with access indicated as open to the public and managed by the Ajuntament de Barcelona. It occupies the coastal fringe between carrer de Pepe Rubianes and the espigó de Gas. Its length is around 400 meters, with an average width of 79 meters. It is described as the oldest and most famous beach in Barcelona, and also as one of the oldest and most rooted in the city's uses along with Sant Sebastià.
