Llevant Beach is an artificial sandy beach in Barcelona, managed by the Ajuntament de Barcelona. It was created in 2006, between Nova Mar Bella Beach and the marine zoo platform, after the removal of the Prim breakwater and the construction of the platform initially reserved for the marine zoo. Access is indicated as permitted and dogs are partially allowed. For today, Llevant is therefore a recent urban beach on the waterfront of Diagonal Mar and Poblenou, convenient if you want to stay in the city and quickly compare with other beaches. Platja de la Nova Mar Bella is at 0.2 km, Zona banys Fòrum at 0.7 km, Platja de la Mar Bella at 0.8 km, and Bogatell at 1.5 km.
