Platja del Bogatell is located in Barcelona, in the Sant Martí district and the Poblenou area. It is a sandy beach with public access, managed by the Ajuntament de Barcelona. The beach measures 625 to 700 meters according to descriptions, with an average width of 32 meters, coarse sand, and a very steep entry into the water. It is separated from Mar Bella by the espigó del Ferrocarril to the northeast and from Nova Icària by the espigó del Bogatell to the southwest. The beach is part of those that were renovated during the recovery of Barcelona's waterfront. Nearby are Platges de Barcelona at 0.1 km, Nova Mar Bella at 1.1 km, and Somorrostro at 1.6 km.
