Platja de la Mar Bella

Platja de la Mar Bella is a sandy beach in the Sant Martí district of Barcelona. It is managed by the Ajuntament de Barcelona and access is indicated as permitted. The beach is approximately 500 meters long and was created as a result of the major urban renovation carried out for the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games. Its location places it among a succession of very close urban beaches: Bogatell is about 0.6 km away, Nova Mar Bella is 0.7 km away, Llevant is 0.9 km away, and Somorrostro, Fòrum, and Barceloneta are between 2 and 3 km away. For a visit today, it is a choice of Barcelonese waterfront, easy to compare with its neighbors. It is part of the dense maritime front of Sant Martí.
