Daymer Bay is both a bay and a sandy beach on the east bank of the River Camel estuary, in northern Cornwall. It is located about 10 km north of Wadebridge. This estuary positioning is the most useful fact for today's selection: the landscape is not that of a long open beach without landmarks, but of a bay linked to the entrance of the Camel. Nearby alternatives allow for refinement based on the desire for walking or changing scenery: Greenaway Beach is 0.8 km away, Pentire Haven at 2.3 km, Trevone Beach at 3.7 km, Harlyn Bay at 5.4 km, then Mother Ivy's Bay and Constantine Bay a bit further. Daymer Bay is well-suited if you want an identifiable Cornish beach, with several well-known beaches within a short radius.
Daymer Bay is a solid choice on the Camel estuary: sand, bay, and proximity to Greenaway Beach. Its location north of Wadebridge helps integrate it into an outing on the north coast of Cornwall, with several easy-to-compare folds.
