Praia da Poça
Poça Beach is an urban maritime beach in São João do Estoril, in the municipality of Cascais. It is located near the Estrada Marginal, between two slopes where the Forte Velho and the Forte de São Teodósio da Cadaveira are situated. Its beach front is sandy and gently sloping. The mentioned accesses are on foot via the Estrada Marginal, through the Paredão de Cascais, or through the tunnel connecting it to Vale de Santa Rita; parking is available in this valley and on the nearby slopes. Restaurants, bars, a medical post, and first aid are present, with lifeguard services in the bathing season. To choose, it is a practical urban beach, but should be evaluated based on crowding.
