Playa de La Concha

La Concha Beach is a small sandy beach in Santander, Cantabria. It is located between two other beaches: the first Sardinero Beach and Camello Beach. Unless the tide is very high, it is almost always connected to El Sardinero; at low tide, it is also possible to walk from La Concha to Camello Beach, although the two beaches are separated by a rocky area. For today, the tide is therefore the concrete parameter to consider, as it affects the continuity with the neighboring beaches. The area is very dense: El Camello Beach and Playa del Camello are at 0.4 km, Playa del Sardinero at 0.6 km, Playa de la Magdalena and Playa Los Peligros at 0.7 km, Sardinero at 0.7 km.

About this spot

La Concha in Santander should be chosen with the tide in mind. At low tide, the connection with Sardinero and Camello changes the outing; at very high tide, the space becomes different. It is a small beach to compare with the entire neighboring front.
