Playa de La Charca

La Charca Beach, or Salomar Beach, is a pebble beach located in the municipality of Salobreña, province of Granada, in Andalusia. It measures approximately 1,800 m long and 64 m wide on average. It is described as a vast and wide beach, family-friendly, with good services. A promenade is present, behind which are several urbanizations and buildings related to tourism. For today, La Charca is therefore a more extensive and equipped option than the nearby small coves, but its pebble surface must be taken into account. Nearby landmarks include Playa de Salomar at 1 km, Playa del Mayorazgo at 1.5 km, Playa del Caletón at 1.6 km, Cala el Pargo at 2 km, and Cala del Cambrón at 3.1 km.

About this spot

La Charca is a large beach in Salobreña, wide and equipped with services, with a seaside promenade. The point not to forget is the pebble surface; if you are looking for something smaller or different, compare with Caletón, Mayorazgo, or Cala el Pargo.
