Praia da Baforeira
Baforeira Beach is a rocky beach located east of São Pedro do Estoril, in the Carcavelos e Parede area. Its bathing use is suspended: the narrow strip of sand was limited to a risky area at the foot of the cliffs, classified as unstable, and the suspension is dated July 4, 2017, due to this instability and the lack of sufficient sand. It also forms the western limit of the Zona de Interesse Biofísico das Avencas. For today, this is not a spot to consider as an ordinary bathing beach. Nearby alternatives include Azarujinha, Moinho, Moitas, and Laje. Neighboring beaches provide fallback options if access, space, or atmosphere are not suitable.
