Baia dei Mergoli o delle Zagare - Nord is a gravel beach in Mattinata, Gargano, at coordinates 41.74862, 16.14665. The area is also known as Baia delle Zagare, but the differences in wording require caution. The setting combines a coast at the foot of a limestone cliff, a rocky beach, two faraglioni named Arco di Diomede and Le forbici, as well as a cave called grotta delle finestre. The bay is divided into three beaches separated by rocky projections; the northernmost measures 60 m and is only accessible by sea. The immediate neighbors are Baia dei Mergoli o delle Zagare - Sud and Cala dei Morti at 0.4 km.
This northern part of the bay is chosen for a rocky landscape of Gargano, not for an easy beach. Gravel, cliffs, and possibly maritime access for the northern portion require precise verification of the arrival point before departing.
