로잔에서 동쪽으로 약 15km 떨어진 레만 호수 북쪽 기슭에 위치한 플라주 데 퀼-뉠(Plage des Culs-Nuls) 해변은 부드럽고 점진적인 경사를 보이는 보(Vaud) 해안선의 눈에 띄지 않는 구간을 차지합니다. 서유럽 최대의 호수인 이곳은 남쪽 지평선에 보이는 알프스를 배경으로 온화하고 일반적으로 잔잔한 물을 제공합니다. 주변 해안선은 밀도가 낮고 흩어져 있는 주거 지역과 보존된 자연 공간이 지배하며, 관광 휴양지와는 거리가 멉니다. 이 해변은 0.5km 떨어진 플라주 CH 해변보다 약간 더 개발된 분위기를 가지고 있으며, 3.3km 떨어진 플라주 VD8 해변은 더 많은 방문객을 끌어들이는 등 인근 해변에 비해 조용하고 덜 붐비는 특징을 보입니다. 해안 접근은 주요 장벽 없이 이루어지며, 8월에 최고 20°C까지 올라가는 수온으로 6월부터 여름 수영을 즐길 수 있습니다. 이곳은 상업 시설 없이 진정한 지역 분위기를 유지합니다. 공식적인 감시와 화장실, 주차장, 샤워 시설과 같은 공식적인 편의 시설이 없기 때문에 비공식적이고 비정형적인 경험을 찾는 숙련된 수영객들을 위한 목적지입니다. 블루 플래그 인증은 없습니다. 거동이 불편한 사람들을 위한 접근 시설은 보장되지 않습니다. 애완동물에 대한 정책은 지역적으로 결정되지 않았습니다.
About this spot
'퀼-뉠'이라는 이름의 정확한 어원은 불분명하지만, 레만 호수 지역의 지명은 종종 지질 형성이나 옛 토지 사용을 나타내는 방언 용어를 반영합니다. 약 12,000년 전 빙하 후퇴로 형성된 레만 호수의 이 구간은 19세기 이후 보와 제네바 주민들에게 중요한 호수 휴양 활동이었던 지역의 지리에 속합니다. 발레의 알프스 해변이나 몽트뢰의 관광 해안과는 달리, 이 지역은 로잔의 대형 휴양지에서 벗어나 형식 없이 휴식을 취하려는 지역 주민들과 가족들이 주로 찾는 곳으로 남아 있습니다.
