아르나오 해변은 스페인 북부 아스투리아스 해안을 따라 펼쳐져 있으며, 오비에도에서 서쪽으로 약 35km 떨어져 있습니다. 이 칸타브리아 해안 지역은 낮은 절벽과 암석 지형이 특징이며, 이곳은 아틀랜틱 대양이 푸르고 구불구불한 땅과 만나는 이 지역의 특징인 고운 모래 만을 둘러싸고 있습니다. 이 지역은 스페인의 다른 해안 지역을 특징짓는 대규모 관광 개발에서 비교적 잘 보존되어 있습니다. 해변 자체는 황금빛 모래 해변을 제공하며, 대서양의 파도에 노출되어 기상 조건에 따라 역동적인 장소가 됩니다. 바로 근처에는 피게라스의 아르나오 해변(0.1km)이 거의 자연스러운 연장선이며, 카르가도이로(1.3km)와 피게라스 해변(1.7km)은 비슷한 특징을 가진 이웃 해변들의 연속을 형성합니다. 이들 해변과 달리 아르나오는 약간 더 보호된 지형을 제공하지만, 주요 시설의 부재는 야생적이고 덜 붐비는 특성을 유지합니다. 이곳에는 감시 시설이나 블루 플래그 인증이 없습니다. 현장에는 편의 시설(주차장, 화장실, 샤워 시설)이 없습니다. 이동이 불편한 사람들을 위한 접근 시설은 제한적입니다. 이 해변은 표준화된 시설 없이 해안 경험을 추구하는 방문객에게 개방되어 있습니다.
About this spot
아르나오라는 이름은 아스투리아스어로 작은 항구나 자연 만을 의미하는 옛 용어에서 유래했습니다. 아스투리아스 해안의 이 지역은 주변 절벽을 구성하는 4기 퇴적물과 석회암 지형이 특징입니다. 역사적으로 이 해변은 현대 해안 관광이 등장하기 훨씬 전부터 지역 어부들의 작은 상륙 지점으로 사용되었습니다. 오늘날에도 이 해변은 해안 지역 사회와 해양 환경 간의 긴밀한 관계를 보존하고 있으며, 이는 아스투리아스를 많은 지중해 해변 휴양지와 구별하는 특징입니다.
