리마나그즈(Limanağzı)는 터키 지중해 연안, 리키아 지역에 펼쳐져 있으며 고대 킬리키아 유적과 가깝습니다. 위도 36°10'N, 경도 29°39'E에 위치한 이 해변은 가파른 석회암 절벽과 연속적인 만이 특징인 해안선에 속하며, 소아시아 남부 해안의 전형적인 모습입니다. 동부 지중해의 터키석 빛 바다가 암석 해안을 적시고 있으며, 메소조익 시대의 지질 형성물이 연속적으로 나타나는 작은 만들이 이어집니다. 이 해변은 둥근 자갈로 이루어져 있어 인근의 모래 해변과는 다른 질감을 제공합니다. 0.7km 떨어진 일카 해변(Yılka Beach)은 접근성이 더 좋지만, 리마나그즈는 해안 시설이 없는 미네랄의 소박함을 유지하고 있습니다. 2.1km 거리에는 역시 자갈 해변인 부유크 차킬 해변(Büyük Çakıl Plajı)과 초반 해변(Çoban plaj)이 있지만, 이곳은 더 많은 사람들이 찾습니다. 도착하자마자 방문객은 바위와의 즉각적인 접촉에 놀라게 됩니다. 파도에 닳은 자갈은 맑은 물로 곧바로 이어지고, 지중해 식생(알레포 소나무, 케르메스 참나무)은 주변 경사면을 따라 자랍니다. 이곳에는 관광 시설이 전혀 없습니다. 수영은 감시 없이 이루어지며, 이동이 불편한 사람들을 위한 접근 시설도 없습니다. 이러한 구성은 여름 성수기 외에는 방문객이 많지 않은 자유로운 접근 장소를 만듭니다.
About this spot
리마나그즈라는 이름은 터키어 단어 'liman'(항구)과 'ağzı'(입구, 개구부)가 결합된 것으로, 작은 항구 만을 의미합니다. 고대 리키아인과 킬리키아인이 거주했던 아나톨리아 남서부 지역은 수천 년 동안 해안 항해의 흔적을 간직하고 있습니다. 해변을 구성하는 자갈은 주변 석회암의 침식으로 생성되었으며, 이 과정은 지중해 겨울 폭풍 동안 가속화됩니다. 현지 이야기에 따르면 이 만은 1970년대까지 붉은 산호 어부들의 정박지로 사용되었으나, 재고 고갈과 전통 산업의 점진적인 포기로 인해 현재는 그 기능을 잃었습니다.
