About this spot
튀르크어로 « 제비꽃 »을 의미하는 Menekşe라는 이름은 한때 이 마르마라 해안에 흩어져 있던 야생화를 연상시킵니다. 이 주거 지역은 20세기 동안 이스탄불의 더위를 피하는 이스탄불 엘리트들의 여름 피난처로 개발되었습니다. 1970년대부터 점진적으로 개발된 해안 공원은 터키 최초의 도시화와 해안 보존을 결합하려는 시도 중 하나입니다. 현지 주민들은 7월의 극심한 더위 동안 플로랴의 거리가 주민들로 붐볐으며, 모두 저녁 수영을 위해 이 해안으로 몰려들었다고 말하며, 이는 오늘날에도 더 오래된 세대들 사이에서 지속되는 전통입니다.
