휘스비 해변은 쥐틀란 동부 해안, 쉬드덴마르크 지역에 펼쳐져 있으며 스벤보르에서 남서쪽으로 약 15km 떨어져 있습니다. 이 해안 구간은 쥐틀란과 피온 섬을 분리하는 해협인 작은 벨트 해협을 마주하고 있습니다. 주변 해안은 남부 덴마크의 특징인 작은 모래 해변과 소나무 숲이 언덕까지 이어지는 삼림 지대가 번갈아 나타나는 것이 특징입니다. 해변 자체는 눈에 띄는 관광 시설 없이 조용한 모습을 보입니다. 쇠네르 아비 해변은 북쪽으로 3.3km 떨어져 있고, 산다게르 네스 해변은 남쪽으로 5.9km 더 뻗어 있습니다. 이웃 해변들과 달리 휘스비 해변은 집중된 시설과는 거리가 먼, 더 외딴 분위기를 유지합니다. 해안은 발트해 지역의 특징인 계절별 퇴적물에 따라 고운 모래 구간과 자갈 지역이 번갈아 나타납니다. 썰물 때 해안선이 상당히 넓어져 산책하기 좋은 단단한 모래밭이 드러납니다. 이곳에는 공식적인 서비스가 없습니다. 해변은 블루 플래그 인증을 받지 않았으며 감시되지 않습니다. 접근은 자유롭고 특별한 제한이 없지만, 이동 약자를 위한 접근 시설이 없다는 점은 방문객들이 유의해야 합니다.
