알제리 지중해 연안에 위치하며 알제에서 동쪽으로 약 500km 떨어진 산 미겔 해변은 알제리 북동부 해안을 따라 펼쳐져 있습니다. 이 지역은 지중해가 석회암 절벽과 이 마그레브 지역의 특징적인 암석 지형과 만나는 곳입니다. 뒤로는 메마른 언덕이 지배하는 해안선은 인구가 적은 해안 지역에 속하며, 작은 만과 고운 모래 해변이 번갈아 나타납니다. 해변 자체는 황금빛 모래로 이루어져 있으며, 불과 300미터 떨어진 DZ 해변과 700미터 떨어진 엘 사피요 해변 등 세 개의 다른 가까운 해변과 이어져 거의 연속적인 해수욕 공간을 형성합니다. 이 두 이웃 해변과 달리, 이곳은 여름철에 일반적으로 잔잔한 물결을 이루며 약간 더 보호된 환경을 제공합니다. 이곳은 개발이 덜 되어 표준화된 해변 복합 시설과는 거리가 먼 자연 그대로의 모습을 유지하고 있습니다. 해변 접근은 자유롭습니다. 전용 주차장, 화장실, 안전 요원 등 주요 기반 시설은 없습니다. 이 해변은 블루 플래그 인증을 받지 못했습니다. 방문객은 자체적으로 방문해야 하며, 특히 안전 요원이 없는 해역의 해상 조건을 존중해야 합니다.
About this spot
'산 미겔'이라는 이름은 지중해 분지에 대한 스페인의 역사적 영향을 연상시키지만, 이 알제리 해변은 오늘날 북아프리카 해변 유산의 일부가 되었습니다. 이 위도의 해안 지역은 16세기부터 19세기까지 스페인과 마그레브 간의 활발한 무역 교류를 경험했습니다. 작은 산악 강에서 흘러내리는 퇴적물이 공급된 이 고운 모래 해변은 지중해 해양 종의 중요한 번식지입니다. 국제 관광객은 거의 찾지 않지만, 물 온도가 섭씨 26~27도까지 오르는 7월과 8월에는 특히 지역 주민들에게 인기 있는 해수욕 장소로 남아 있습니다.
