Caddebostan Plajı 2 extends along the Sea of Marmara coast, in the Blacka region of Turkey, near the coastal district of Istanbul. Located about 1.7 km from the neighboring TR-BLK Beach and 3.1 km from Bostancı Halk Plajı, this section of the Marmara coastline features a succession of fine sand beaches bordered by the coastal urbanization typical of Istanbul's periphery. The sea here takes on the characteristic gray-blue hues of the Marmara, with gradual access to shallow waters. The beach consists of fine, light sand, offering a less crowded setting than its immediate neighbors. Unlike Bostancı Halk Plajı, located 3.1 km to the east, which concentrates more developed tourist infrastructure, this stretch retains a more discreet character, without imposing leisure facilities. Its direct exposure to the Marmara makes it sensitive to seasonal variations in water quality and local currents. The fine, regular sand allows for easy swimming in summer, although the bottom becomes muddy a few meters from the shore. No surveillance service is provided on site. Access for people with reduced mobility is not arranged. The beach remains uncertified Blue Flag, reflecting the absence of standardized facilities. Visitors should bring their own equipment and comply with the natural conditions of the Marmara, including variable water quality depending on the season.
Caddebostan, whose name evokes the eponymous district of Istanbul, designates one of the coastal areas historically frequented by Istanbul residents seeking relaxation by the Sea of Marmara. This region, long dominated by fishing and maritime trade, gradually transformed during the 20th century into a suburban seaside destination. The Bostancı area, of which Caddebostan Plajı 2 is an extension, remains anchored in local collective memory as a modest summer resort, long before the emergence of tourist complexes on the Aegean coast.
