Secline Beach
شاطئ سيكلاين يمتد على طول الضفة الشمالية لبحيرة تاهو، على الحدود بين كاليفورنيا ونيفادا، في سييرا نيفادا. يقع هذا الجزء من الساحل على بعد حوالي 0.4 كم غرب شاطئ كينغز بيتش، وهو جزء من مجموعة من الشواطئ التي تصطف على طول 191 كم من سواحل أكبر بحيرة جبلية في أمريكا الشمالية. توفر البحيرة، الواقعة على ارتفاع 1897 مترًا، مياهًا صافية تشتهر بشفافيتها الاستثنائية، بينما تخلق الضفاف الصخرية والمشجرة في المنطقة محيطًا جبليًا مميزًا.
About this spot
بحيرة تاهو، التي يأتي اسمها من مصطلح واشو "دا أو" (البحيرة الكبيرة)، تشكلت قبل حوالي مليوني سنة خلال انهيار صدع تكتوني. يشكل الساحل الشمالي، حيث تتناثر شواطئ كينغز بيتش وسيكلاين بيتش على بعد مئات الأمتار من بعضها البعض، المنطقة الأكثر كثافة في تطوير البحيرة، والتي تحولت خلال القرن العشرين إلى وجهة سياحية رئيسية. يعكس القرب الفوري لهذين الشاطئين - المفصولين بأقل من نصف كيلومتر - تاريخ التنمية الحضرية للمنطقة، حيث تم دمج الخلجان الصغيرة تدريجيًا في البنية التحتية الترفيهية الإقليمية.
