Playa Carenero

About this spot
卡雷纳罗这个名字来源于西班牙语动词“carenar”，意思是给船只进行船体保养，即将其放入干船坞进行清洁和维修。历史上，博卡斯德尔托罗的这一沿海地区曾是 17 世纪加勒比海盗和私掠者的停泊地和造船厂，也是前往太平洋的欧洲商船的停泊地。该群岛于 1502 年被克里斯托弗·哥伦布发现，长期以来一直是走私者的避难所，直到 19 世纪成为可可贸易中心。如今，卡雷纳罗仍然保留着航运停靠站的记忆，其平静的水域继续停靠着小型渔船和过往帆船，而海滩仍然是寻求加勒比海宁静的旅行者的锚地。
