About this spot
오타보(Autavaux)라는 지명은 느샤텔 쥐라의 고대 지리 용어인 '보(vaux, 낮은 땅)'를 언급하며 이 지역의 낮은 땅을 암시합니다. 이 호숫가 구간은 쥐라의 호수 역사에 속하며, 후기 빙하기에 형성된 느샤텔 호수는 신석기 시대부터 인간 활동을 형성해 왔습니다. 느샤텔 지역보다 인구 밀도가 낮은 북쪽 해안은 어업의 역할을 유지해 왔습니다. 19세기부터 이곳에서는 그물과 통발을 이용한 전문 어업이 활발한 활동으로 남아 있으며, 호수의 보(Vaud) 휴양지와는 달리 해변은 대중 관광과는 거리가 먼 지역 생활 공간으로 남아 있습니다.
