About this spot
쿠루라는 이름은 코스타리카 태평양 연안의 토착 야자수 품종을 지칭하는 과나카스테카 단어에서 유래했습니다. 수백만 년에 걸쳐 축적된 화산 퇴적물과 해양 퇴적물로 형성된 니코야 반도는 코스타리카에서 가장 지질학적으로 오래된 지역 중 하나입니다. 1980년대부터 이 지역은 정해진 경로를 피하는 대안적 관광의 선구자들을 끌어들였고, 몬테수마에 오늘날까지 지속되는 보헤미안 개발 모델을 세웠습니다. 이 역학에서 벗어나 있던 쿠루 해변은 잊혀진 해변의 익명성을 유지하고 있으며, 이는 해안의 고립을 추구하는 여행자들에게 이점입니다.
