WISID extends along the northeast coast of Java, Indonesia, about 25 kilometers west of Surabaya. This portion of the Java Sea coastline is characterized by a low, gradual shoreline, where shallow waters extend for several hundred meters before reaching significant depth. The surrounding coastal landscape alternates between small fishing villages and cultivated areas, typical of this densely populated region of North Java. The beach itself consists of fine, light sand, with a gentle slope that makes for easy access to the water. The atmosphere remains calm and less frequented compared to more established seaside resorts on the coast. At 12.1 kilometers, ID-C Beach represents the nearest tourist development, although WISID retains a less developed character, more oriented towards local use. Tides significantly influence the experience: at low tide, the foreshore widens considerably, revealing muddy bottoms and seagrass beds typical of this coast. No formal infrastructure is reported on site. Access remains rudimentary, with no developed parking or sanitary facilities. The beach has no official lifeguard service and does not fly the Blue Flag. The absence of tourist services reflects the status of this beach: a relaxation area for local residents and discerning swimmers rather than a structured destination for mass tourism.
