Peck Beach

Peck Beach stretches along the New Jersey coast, in Ocean County, about 200 kilometers southeast of New York City. This part of the Atlantic coastline is characterized by low dunes and a sandy shore typical of the Jersey Shore's coastal bay. The area, less densely urbanized compared to neighboring seaside resorts, offers a quieter atmosphere than the resort beaches concentrated further north. The beach itself has a modest profile: a strip of fine sand that gradually extends towards the ocean. In the immediate vicinity, Peck's Beach is only 1.3 kilometers away, while William Morrow Beach, further south, is just 7.4 kilometers away. Unlike its neighbors, which attract more summer visitors, this beach retains a less crowded character, with direct access to the relatively calm waters of the North Atlantic in the late season. The landscape remains marked by the natural geography of the Jersey Shore: low dunes, sparse coastal vegetation, and open horizons towards the sea. No major facilities are reported on site: no designated parking, no public toilets, and no lifeguard service. Access is not equipped for people with reduced mobility. The beach is not Blue Flag certified. This lack of amenities makes it a place for local use rather than an organized destination.
