Plage Djzebouj stretches along the Algerian Mediterranean coast, in the immediate vicinity of Algiers and its coastal surroundings. Located at coordinates 36.48°N / 1.05°E, it is part of the northern Mitidja coastline, where the Mediterranean meets a succession of small coves and pocket beaches typical of this region. The shore, characterized by an alternation of sandy and rocky areas, is part of a fragmented coastal landscape where beaches follow each other at short distances. Djzebouj occupies a modest position in this tight coastal chain: it is only 400 meters from the adjacent Plage DZ, and less than a kilometer from three other small beaches of the same name that dot this area. This proximity reveals a compartmentalized coastline, where each beach retains its access and distinct character despite their juxtaposition. The site remains undeveloped, offering an experience devoid of major tourist infrastructure, making it a direct access point to the Mediterranean without commercial mediation. No official supervision is provided on this beach, and no accessibility facilities for people with reduced mobility are reported. The Blue Flag status does not apply to this site. Visitors access it independently, without organized services or formalized amenities. This configuration distinguishes it from the more equipped urban beaches of Algiers, while maintaining it as a bathing spot for residents of the surrounding coastal neighborhoods.
