Alesta Beach Club extends along the Aegean coast of Turkey, in the Aydın region, near the Aegean Sea coastline. This stretch of shore is part of a group of beaches lining this coast, characterized by turquoise waters and typical limestone rock formations of the region. The site is part of a coastal context where small coves alternate with more open beaches, all exposed to moderate northerly winds that cool the Mediterranean atmosphere. The beach club occupies a relatively compact space, located 400 meters from TR-AEG Beach and 500 meters from other nearby seaside areas. Unlike the adjacent free beaches, Alesta operates as a private establishment, offering a more structured and delimited experience. Access to the site implies a certain clientele, and the character of the place reflects this commercial organization rather than a wild coastline. The site does not have the Blue Flag label, and no official supervision is provided. Accessibility for people with reduced mobility is not documented. Visitors must anticipate their needs for services and equipment, as the beach club is not required to provide standard facilities of supervised public beaches.
The Aegean region of Turkey, to which Alesta belongs, has concentrated trade and cultural exchanges between Asia Minor and the Mediterranean since antiquity. The name "Alesta" remains little documented in major historical sources but fits into the local tradition of naming coastal beach clubs that have multiplied in Turkey since the 1990s. These private establishments reflect the evolution of Turkish tourism, moving from a rural economy to a coastal service economy. The Aegean coast, once the domain of fishermen and traditional gulets, has gradually acquired tourist infrastructure where beach clubs and coastal restaurants coexist with older uses.
